NASA HUNCH:

The BCATC Computerized Manufacturing and Machining program will be participating in the High school students United with NASA to Create Hardware program this school year. HUNCH is an instructional partnership between NASA and high schools and intermediate/middle schools.  This partnership benefits both NASA and students. NASA receives cost-effective hardware, while students receive real-world hands-on experiences. A spin-off of this teaming is the inspiration of the next generation of researchers and space explorers.

NASA provides materials, equipment and mentoring that is required to fabricate the items.  NASA also provides quality inspection oversight during the fabrication of these items. The school will provide technical direction to the students and provide a safe working environment.
